Falcons Player Not Going to Jail

An Atlanta Falcons player will avoid going to jail after pleading no contest to three misdemeanor counts of marijuana possession.  The defensive tackle had originally been charged with a felony charge of possessing 40 grams of marijuana.  He will have to serve 12 months probation and pay a $1500 fine.
